Arabic vocabulary
How to say “rushed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَأَكَبَّ الْعَبَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ
Then Al-Abbas rushed at him.
فَأَكَبَّ — then rushed. The fa- here marks immediate sequence — 'and then' — chaining this rush onto the prior scene. The verb is past with 'he' inside and carries a sense of throwing oneself down over someone.
