Arabic vocabulary
How to say “send down” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ولينزله على القلوب،
and apply it to the hearts,
وَلْيُنَزِّلْهُ — and let him cause it to descend. 'And' plus the lam of command on a doubled (causative) verb, with '-hu' (it) attached — 'and let him bring it down'. The prefixed particle makes the order, the doubled middle root makes it causative ('cause to descend'), and the suffix is the object.
