How to say “sent me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَنِي فَقَالَ اِقْرَأْ
Then He sent me and said, 'Read.'
أَرْسَلَنِي — sent me. A past verb with 'me' attached as its object, so one word holds both the action and who it touched. Its 'he' subject is folded in, pointing to the angel.
