How to say “severe” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
والمنطق نفعه قليل، وضرره وبيل،
Logic has little benefit, but its harm is severe.
وَبِيلٌ — severe. 'severe / grievous,' indefinite (the -un), the predicate of 'its harm [is]...'. The second verdict: logic's harm is SEVERE — the author's blunt assessment, weighed against its scant benefit.
