Arabic vocabulary
How to say “she raised” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَرَفَعَتْ صَوْتَهَا،
Then she raised her voice,
فَرَفَعَتْ — then she raised. Two forces in one word: the fa- continues the story with a light 'then', and the past verb's feminine ending marks 'she', carrying the subject inside. The prefix sequences the action while the verb names her raising her voice.
