How to say “she silenced” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
حَتَّى أَسْكَتَتْهَا،
until she silenced her.
أَسْكَتَتْهَا — she silenced her. One dense word holding a past verb plus two players: the '-at' ending makes the doer a single female 'she', and the tail '-ha' attaches a female 'her' as the one silenced. Arabic packs doer, deed and receiver into a single written form where English needs three words.
