لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فِي الْمَهْدِ إِلَّا ثَلَاثَةٌ عِيسَى،
No one spoke in the cradle except three, Jesus,
يَتَكَلَّمْ — speak. A present-form verb forced into the clipped jussive shape by the negation-particle before it, reading as a past 'spoke'. The trimmed ending is the visible sign of that particle's grip; together they mean 'did not speak'.
