How to say “spoke to him” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَكَلَّمَهُ تَكْلِيمًا ـ
And He spoke to him directly.
وَكَلَّمَهُ — and spoke to him. Opens with the linking wa- and continues with a finished-action verb on a doubled-consonant 'speaking-to' pattern that builds in directing speech at someone, with -hu ('him') fused on as the one spoken to. So one word holds link, act, and addressee. The hidden 'He' is the doer.
