How to say “sufficient” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِنَّهُ حَسْبُنَا وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
He is sufficient for us, and the best disposer of affairs.
حَسْبُنَا — sufficient for us. A noun closed by '-na' (our/us), the possessor glued to its end, standing as what is said about God in the statement. The suffix marks Him as sufficient specifically for the speaker's group, so 'sufficient for us' is carried by one word.
