Arabic vocabulary
How to say “their deviation” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
بِعُدُولِهِمْ عَنْ مَنْهَجِ الْوَحْيِ،
Because of their deviation from the method of revelation,
بِعُدُولِهِمْ — by their deviation. This is the preposition bi- ('by/through') fused to a noun with -him ('their') attached, so one word means 'by their deviating'. The bi- marks the cause, telling WHY they were deprived. The 'their' points back to the deprived people, naming their own turning-away as the reason.
