Arabic vocabulary
How to say “to flow” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فجرت قطرات النطف إلى أحصن الحروز،
Then drops of sperm were released into well-fortified fortresses.
فَجَرَتْ — then it released. The 'so/then' prefix chains this onto the previous clause as the next event, and beneath it the past-tense verb means 'flowed / burst forth' with a feminine subject that follows. The connector moves the narrative on to its result, and the verb stands before its subject in normal Arabic order.
