How to say “trick” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَنَّهُ لَيَزَاوِلُهُ بِكُلِّ حِيلَةٍ
And that he will assail him with every trick.
حِيلَةٍ — trick. This noun is governed by the preceding 'every', so it stays singular and (genitive), the shape Arabic uses after 'each/every' even when 'all kinds' are meant. Its indefinite ending keeps it general, 'every trick'. The singular is grammar, not a count of one.
