How to say “universal” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَهِيَ الْحَقِيقَةُ الْكَوْنِيَّةُ الَّتِي يَشْتَرِكُ فِيهَا
And it is the universal reality in which all participate.
الْكَوْنِيَّةُ — universal. An adjective describing the reality just named. Arabic adjectives follow their noun and copy it in gender, number, definiteness and case, so its 'the' and its ending all echo the noun ahead of it rather than standing alone.
