How to say “Usayd” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
I said: It was said by so-and-so, and so-and-so, and so-and-so, and Usayd ibn al-Hudayr al-Ansari.
وَأُسَيْدُ — and Usayd. An 'and' joined to a personal name, finally adding a real, identified person to the list of stand-ins. The connector marks the shift from anonymous placeholders to a named individual.
