Arabic vocabulary
How to say “was made manifest” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الْصُّدُورِ،
And what was in the hearts was made manifest.
وَحُصِّلَ — and was made manifest. The wa- opens with 'and'. The verb is past tense in the passive, 'is gathered / brought out': the inner vowels are reshaped so the contents of the hearts are ACTED ON, made manifest, rather than acting. The doubled middle consonant marks an intensive, thorough exposure.
