Arabic vocabulary
How to say “will surely raise” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَيَبْعَثْنَّهُ اللَّهُ
And Allah will surely raise him.
وَلَيَبْعَثْنَّهُ — and will surely raise him. A single packed word: the wa- ('and') opens it, an emphasis-'la' meaning 'surely' precedes the verb, a heavy 'definitely' ending closes it, and an attached 'him' rides on the end - so 'and He will most certainly raise him'. The double emphasis (front 'la' plus the heavy ending) is Arabic's strongest way to swear something will happen.
