How to say “with us” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَيْسَ عِنْدَنَا مِنَ الطَّعَامِ مَا نُطْعِمُهُمْ
We do not have any food to feed them.
عِنْدَنَا — with us. An 'at/with' preposition fused with '-na' (us) -- the Arabic way of saying 'we have'. Under the preceding 'there is not', it becomes 'we do NOT have', the suffix marking the household.
