فَيَسْتَسْلِمُ الْبَائِسُ لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَجُنْدِهِ
So the wretched man surrenders to Satan and his troops.
الْبَائِسُ — the wretched man. A definite noun in the nominative serving as the subject of the verb before it. With al- making it definite, it identifies exactly who surrenders, the wretched man, as the doer of the action just described.
