Arabic vocabulary
How to say “you claimed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَزَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تَنْصُرُونَهُمْ وَتُعِينُونَهُمْ،
And you claimed that you would support them and help them,
وَزَعَمْتُمْ — and you claimed. A leading 'and' coordinating this onto the prior charge, on a past verb whose 'you (plural)' subject rides in the -tum ending. The suffix supplies the doers, so 'you claimed' is one word.
