Arabic vocabulary
How to say “your Lord” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ عَبْدِي وَأَنَا رَبُّكَ
O Allah, you are my servant and I am your Lord!
رَبُّكَ — your Lord. This noun is fused with a second-person masculine 'your' suffix, so one word means 'your Lord'. It is the predicate of the verbless 'I am...' clause, and the suffix points to the addressee, completing the reversed, mistaken pairing the man blurts out in his joy.
