Arabic vocabulary
How to say “a god” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَلَا يَعْبُدُهُ أَوْ يَعْبُدُ مَعَهُ إِلٰهًا آخَرَ
and does not worship Him or associate any other god with Him.
إِلٰهًا — a god. An indefinite noun 'a god' in the object (accusative) form, the thing one might wrongly worship alongside God. Its indefinite, accusative shape marks it as a non-specific direct object of the verb.
