How to say “accursed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
رَأَيْتُ إِبْلِيسَ اللَّعِينَ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَنْكُوسًا
I saw the accursed Iblis upside down in a dream.
اللَّعِينَ — the accursed. A definite epithet, marked by 'al-', describing the figure just named. As an adjective it follows its noun and copies its accusative case, since Arabic adjectives match the case, number, and gender of what they modify. It piles a damning label onto the name.
