How to say “adorned” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
غير أنه زينها وطفل الهوى ذو اغترار،
Yet, He adorned it, and the child of desire is prone to deception,
زَيَّنَهَا — adorned it. A past-tense verb in its doubled-middle pattern, which is the intensive shaping that means 'made beautiful, decked out thoroughly' rather than a plain one-time act. The 'he' subject is built into the verb form itself with no separate pronoun word, and the attached 'it' on the end is the thing adorned, so one Arabic word carries doer, action, and object together.
