وَمُوَافَقَةُ الْمَحْبُوبِ فِي الْمَكْرُوهِ مَحْبُوبَةٌ فَكَيْفَ إِذا دَعَا إِلَى مَحْبُوب
And agreeing with the beloved even in what is disliked is beloved, so how much more when it calls to something beloved?
وَمُوَافَقَةُ — and agreeing. wa- = 'and'; muwafaqa means 'agreeing, going along with'; the '-u' ending marks it as the subject, heading an 'of…' phrase with the next word.
From: Resisting Temptation →ليس معيار الميزان الضوضاء ولا عدد المشاهدين، بل صدق النيّة وموافقة الهدى
The criterion for the scale is not noise nor the number of viewers, but sincerity of intention and adherence to guidance.
وَمُوَافَقَةُ — and adherence to. 'and the accord with' — 'wa' plus 'muwafaqa', a second nominative, head of an 'of' pairing with 'guidance'.
From: When Hidden Deeds Are Shown →فَلَا بُدَّ مِنْ إِخْلَاصِ النِّيَّةِ فِي الْعَمَلِ وَمُوَافَقَتِهَا لِمَرَادِ الشَّارِعِ
Sincerity of intention in action is necessary, and it must conform to the Lawgiver's intent.
وَمُوَافَقَتِهَا — and its conformity. Three layers stack here: 'wa-' adds this as a second requirement parallel to the sincerity just named; the core is an action-noun 'conforming'; and '-ha' is an attached feminine possessor reaching back to that sincerity/intention, so 'its conforming' really means the intention's agreement with the Lawgiver's aim.
