فَدَعَا اللَّاتَ وَالْعُزَّى وَأَشْرَكَ
So he called upon al-Lat and al-Uzza and associated others with God.
اللَّاتَ — al-Lat. This proper name is the object of the verb 'called upon', marked by the object ending, naming the idol invoked. The ending is how you know it is acted upon rather than acting. It is the first of two objects joined by 'and'.
