Arabic vocabulary
How to say “and his soldiers” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
يَتَحَصَّنُ بِهَا مِنْ إِبْلِيسِ وَجُنُودِهِ
One seeks protection with them from Iblis and his soldiers.
وَجُنُوده — and his soldiers. Two pieces in one word: wa- 'and', adding a second danger, plus the plural noun 'soldiers' with a possessor 'his' fused on the end. The wa- joins it to the preceding name under the same preposition, so it too carries the 'of' (genitive) ending: 'from Iblis and his soldiers'.
