Arabic vocabulary
How to say “and know” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ جَاءُوا بِالْبَيَانِ الْكَافِيِ
Know that the prophets came with sufficient clarity.
وَأَعْلَمُ — and know. Read as a command form, an exhortation telling the listener to do this. Arabic builds the imperative by trimming the present-tense verb down to its bare stem, so this is shorter than the matching 'you know' statement and carries the force of an instruction.
