Arabic vocabulary
How to say “the sufficient” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ جَاءُوا بِالْبَيَانِ الْكَافِيِ
Know that the prophets came with sufficient clarity.
الْكَافِيِ — the sufficient. An adjective trailing its noun and copying that noun's definiteness and case. Arabic puts descriptions AFTER the thing described and makes them agree, so the matching 'al-' and ending tie this firmly to the clarity it modifies.
