Arabic vocabulary
How to say “angry” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِنْصَرَفْتُ مُغْضَبًا وَلَمْ أَدْخُلْ إِلَيْهِ أَيَّامًا،
So I left angrily and did not go to him for days.
مُغْضَبًا — angrily. A describing word in the accusative painting the manner of the leaving, telling HOW he left: in anger. Arabic uses such an accusative side-description where English adds '-ly'. It modifies the act, not any noun.
