Arabic vocabulary
How to say “apparent” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
بعيدا من التصنع، لا يظهر التقشف، وإن كان باديا عليه،
Away from affectation, not displaying austerity, although it was evident on him,
بَادِيًا — evident. This active participle is the predicate of 'was', describing the austerity as 'showing/evident', so it sits in the object form the copula assigns. As a doer-noun it means the trait visibly appeared.
