How to say “at their place” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَيَرْحَلُ مِنْ عِنْدَهُمَا سَحَرًا،
He then departs from their place at dawn.
عِنْدِهِمَا — at their place. This is a place-word 'at/by' welded to a two-people ending meaning 'the pair of them'. Arabic has a dedicated form for exactly two, so this single word means 'at the place of those two' without any separate number word, and the preposition keeps the whole phrase in the 'of' ending.
