How to say “bread” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَأَتَتْ بِذَلِكَ الْخُبْزِ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَفُتِّتَ
She brought that bread, and he ordered it to be crumbled.
الْخُبْزِ — the bread. The bread, made definite by al- and governed by the preceding 'with', so in the genitive. It spells out the 'that' just used -- 'with that bread'.
