وأصول دين الخلف هو ما صنفوا فيه،
The fundamentals of the religion of the later generations are what they compiled,
صَنَّفُوا — they compiled. A Form II verb ('classified / authored books'), past, with '-u' carrying 'they'. The doubled-middle pattern gives the sense of systematic arranging. The subject 'they' (the later folk) is sealed inside the verb.
