How to say “complete” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
بَلْ لَا يَسْتَحِقُّ الْمَحَبَّةَ وَالْخُضُوعَ التَّامَّ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
Rather, only God deserves love and complete submission.
التَّام — complete. This describing word, 'complete', follows its noun and matches it in definiteness with al- and in case, the standard way Arabic adjectives trail and agree with what they modify. It sharpens the submission as total, attaching tightly to the noun before it.
