How to say “confusion” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَدْ إِزْدَادَ مَهَانَةً وَخَبْطًا ،
So he became increasingly humiliated and confused.
خَبْطًا — confusion. This noun is joined by 'and' to the earlier quality, so it shares the same object-style (accusative) ending and the same 'increased in...' role. It stands as the second respect in which the increase occurred, paired with humiliation as a twin specification.
