Arabic vocabulary
How to say “disbelief” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الذِّي يَأْكُلُ بِالْكُفْرِ وَالإِسْلَامِ
One who lives by both disbelief and Islam.
بِالْكُفْرِ — by disbelief. The bi- prefix is the 'by/through' preposition marking the means, and it forces the genitive on the definite noun. With the verb 'lives', it names what he lives by, so the sense is 'profits by disbelief', the preposition marking the instrument.
