Arabic vocabulary
How to say “the one who” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الذِّي يَأْكُلُ بِالْكُفْرِ وَالإِسْلَامِ
One who lives by both disbelief and Islam.
الذِّي — the one who. This is the 'the one who' word, a relative opening a defining clause. It picks up the person just described and adds another description, so everything after it tells what kind of two-faced man is meant.
