Arabic vocabulary
How to say “endurance” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وأعلم الزاهدين أنها لا تستطيع ثباتا،
And He informed the ascetics that it cannot endure,
ثَبَاتًا — endurance. This noun is the object of 'is able to', in the accusative, naming what the world cannot achieve, namely endurance. Its indefinite shape leaves 'lasting' general, so the line says this world can claim no permanence at all.
