When the falcon catches sight of the prey, it forgets the hand it knows.
لِلْبَاشِقِ — to the falcon. 'Li-' (to / for) fused with 'the sparrowhawk', genitive — 'appeared to the hawk'. The 'li-' marks the one to whom it appeared.
