How to say “fee” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وكان لا يأخذ على المعالجة أجرا من الفقراء وأوساط الناس،
He would not accept a fee for treatment from the poor and middle-class people.
أَجْرًا — a fee. This is the direct object of 'takes', its object ending marking it as what is received, and left indefinite as 'a fee'. The indefiniteness keeps it general, any payment at all.
