وَهَذِهِ الْأَمَةُ يَقُولُونَ سَرَقْتِ زَنَيْتِ وَلَمْ تَفْعَلْ
And this female slave, they say, "You stole, you committed adultery," and you did not do it.
الْأَمَةُ — the female slave. The slave-girl named as the topic, made definite by al- and feminine in form. She is what the rest of the sentence is about -- the one falsely accused -- set up here before the comment lands.
