How to say “Ghifar” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قَالَ هَذِهِ غِفَارُ
He said, "This is Ghifar."
غِفَارُ — Ghifar. A tribe-name standing as the description in a verb-less 'this is Ghifar' statement; its '-u' ending marks the subject-case role that the completing noun takes here. Arabic needs no separate 'is', the bare noun after the demonstrative supplies the answer.
