Arabic vocabulary
How to say “he forms factions” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَنَهَضَ إِبْلِيسُ يَلْبَسُ وَيَزْخَرِفُ وَيُفَرِّقُ وَيُؤَلِّفُ
And Iblis rose up, clothing, adorning, dividing, and forming factions.
وَيُؤَلِّفُ — and he forms factions. A present-tense verb of the doubled-intensive pattern, here 'forms into groups', closing the coordinated chain with the attached 'and'. The intensive stem sharpens the sense to deliberately grouping people into factions.
