Arabic vocabulary
How to say “he listened” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَنْصَتَ بِحُضُورِ قَلْبِهِ؛
And he listened with his heart present.
وَأَنْصَتَ — and he listened. This joins the linking 'and' to a past-tense verb holding its 'he' subject. The 'and' chains this action to the prior one in the sequence of his devotion.
