Arabic vocabulary
How to say “her father” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَمِّ خَدِيجَةَ أَخِي أَبِيهَا،
And he was the son of Khadija's paternal uncle, her father's brother.
أَبِيهَا — her father. This kinship noun has 'her' attached at its end, so one word carries both 'father' and its owner; it completes 'brother of her father' in the genitive. The suffix points back to Khadija as whose father is meant.
