How to say “his aim” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَعَيْنُهُ إِلَى تَنْبِيهِ الشَّيْخِ تَارَةً ،
And his aim is to alert the sheikh at times,
وَعَيْنُهُ — and his aim. Two pieces: the connector wa- starting a new observation, and a noun ('eye', here figurative for aim/attention) carrying -hu 'his'. The wa- ties this to the description, and the attached pronoun makes it 'his aim', the subject of what follows.
