How to say “his little son” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى بُنَيِّهِ
And he sent to his little son.
بُنَيِّهِ — his little son. A noun in the affectionate 'little' (diminutive) shape, carried by the word's internal vowels rather than by an added adjective. The tail -hi pins ownership to 'his', and the whole word sits in the genitive because the preposition just before it governs it.
