Arabic vocabulary
How to say “his narration” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَقَالَ شُعَيْبُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ فَرَفَصَهُ رَمْرَمَةً، أَوْ زَمْزَمَةً
And Shu'ayb, in his narration, described it as ramramah or zamzamah.
حَدِيثِهِ — his narration. A noun with an attached 'his' pronoun marking the possessor, held in the genitive by the preposition before it. The suffix folds 'his' into the noun, sparing a separate word, and points the account back to the narrator named just before.
