How to say “his sins” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَيَذْكُرُ لَهُمْ خَطَايَاهُ الَّتِي أَصَابَهَا ـ
And he will mention to them his sins that befell him.
خَطَايَاهُ — his sins. A plural noun, built by reshaping the singular internally, with -hu ('his') fused on, 'his sins', in the object form as what the verb mentions. The possessor ties the sins to the speaker. A relative clause follows to describe them further, so this owned-plural heads a short description.
