How to say “his stars” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَفَلَتْ كَوَاكِبُهُ النَّيِّرَةُ مِنْ آفَاقِ نُفُوسِهِمْ فَلِذَلِكَ لَا يُحِبُّونَهَا،
And his bright stars faded from the horizons of their souls, so for that they do not love them.
كَوَاكِبُهُ — his stars. A plural noun with the suffix -hu ('his') fused on, so possession is built into the word. It is the subject of the verb just before it, and being a non-human plural it triggers the feminine singular shape on that verb. The owner 'his' reaches back to the figure the passage is about.
